Shirene Hicks founded and established Breaking Through Barriers Ministries In 2014.  Her ministry was designed by God to equip men and women with the necessary essentials to Break Through Barriers of limitation.  As a child she believed that all broken objects could be fixed; there was never any need to throw away an item just because it had dents and bruises. She believed in fixing the problem and rebuilding the item by creating a new paradigm.  She came to believe that our very thoughts had power to shift our entire lives. Shirene Graduated from Living Word School of Ministry in 2017.  She received her Ministerial Licensing in 2017 and Pastoral Ordination in 2020 under Dr. Bill Winston’s Faith Ministries Alliance.  As a revivalist, Her calling has taken her into the nations. Her innovative approach has caused her to break through spiritual, mental and financial barriers.

In the month of January 2018, Shirene added a subsidiary to Breaking Through Barriers Ministries. SWAT Outreach was developed to Strengthen Women around the world. In 2020, Shirene implemented Blossom youth ministry (BYM). BYM consist of a community of prophets, mentors, and mental health professionals that assist our youth with proper etiquette, identity formation, development of spiritual gifts and group counseling.
